Course Policies
In order to keep Hilldale enjoyable for every golfer, we ask that you abide by the following policies when playing our Regulation Course. Please arrive 20 minutes ahead of your tee time so pace of play isn't hindered by late golfers.
A group is expected to complete 18 holes on the Regulation Course in 4 hours and 20 minutes or less, and nine holes in 2 hours and 10 minutes or less. Foursomes started at ten-minute intervals will finish within that window if they keep pace with the group ahead.
Hilldale's Rangers will help keep play moving. If your group falls one hole behind, a Ranger will ask you to close the gap; if the gap isn't closed, you may be asked to move up or, ultimately, leave the course. A beginner who cannot reasonably keep pace may be asked to leave with a full refund — no refund or rain check is issued after two warnings.
Rain checks apply to rain only. If you've paid and teed off on the first hole but not made the turn, a credit for half the amount paid will be issued (valid one year). No rain check is issued once you've started play on the back nine.
Twilight is as many holes as you can play before sunset — that's why the rate is lower than any other time of day. No rain checks are issued for twilight play.
